Substantial by design

About the bakery
Bad Influence Bakery is a home-based bakery in Post Falls, Idaho, built by Amanda French for people who want their treats substantial and their bread worth planning around.
Meet Amanda French
I got my baking “gene” from my great-grandfather, who owned and ran a bakery before I was born. I never had the chance to bake alongside him, but the family connection found its way into my kitchen anyway.
Today, I’m the owner and baker behind Bad Influence Bakery. I make everything in small batches with a simple rule: if a flavor is worth making, it should actually show up in the finished bake. That means oversized cookies, generously cut brownies, loaded breads, soft rolls, and Extra Sour sourdough given a full 72-hour cold ferment.
Head of Marketing
Dobby is the sweet, people-loving dog behind the bakery logo—and Bad Influence Bakery’s official Head of Marketing. His strategy is simple: look handsome, greet everyone, and collect as many pets as possible.
When venue rules allow, Dobby may come along to pop-ups and events. He genuinely loves people, so if you see him on duty, please come say hi and give him a pet. Together with the dragon, he gives every questionable decision leaving the kitchen his seal of approval.

Extra Sour sourdough is cold fermented for a full 72 hours, dulce de leche is slow-cooked, and raspberry filling is reduced until concentrated.
Orders are baked in small batches and confirmed by a real person—not dropped into an anonymous production queue.
